Who I Am

¡Hola! I’m Anita. Since graduating in languages, I've been working as a professional linguist for over 25 years. Following my degree, I worked as a teacher in Spain for several years before doing an MA in Interpreting and Translation in the UK. I then went on to work as a technical translator for a Spanish multinational. I returned to teaching 5 years ago, establishing AD Tutoring, and am loving every minute!

In my spare time I Iove to travel, play padel (a Spanish racket sport) and do arts and craft courses.

How I Teach

I decided to develop a personalised online tutoring model after witnessing and experiencing its effectiveness in the home education community for many years (before online teaching became mainstream!). It has also meant that I can support students anywhere in the world.

I use Zoom to teach students one-to-one, allowing for a completely customised experience, catered to their own goals. I believe that allowing students to work at their own pace creates a fantastic learning environment - the best recipe for success!
